來自Canonwatch的消息，指Canon正在製造一部中幅單反，將在9月份的Photokina上宣佈。消息來源告指該相機將使用EF卡口，但可能不以EOS命名。由於焦距的問題此外中幅單反可能不能接受所有的EF鏡頭，實際上情況仍未清楚，可能要到明年才有實質的規格公佈。
